Looking Forward - RateScope

The new year has started with an abundance of energy as we look forward to the upcoming Worldwide Conference in Singapore. We are excited to be in attendance and have the opportunity to meet face to face. Your ideas are most important to our combined success and they help to shape our future so we eagerly await the chance to sit together.
As previously communicated, in 2023 we are looking to build on our Carrier relationships both locally and globally. By strengthening these partnerships, we will be able to react quicker to opportunities and secure more business together. We all understand the Carriers are pivotal to our success so this is a main priority.
Also mentioned is our key focus on Technology and enhancing our operating platform. The goal is to provide greater efficiency for you and your teams along with developing new features that lend itself to securing additional business.
The first project will be an Ocean Rate and Contract Management tool called RateScope.
This will be a new feature built into the system that will deliver an efficient and comprehensive look- up of our Ocean service contracts. We recognize that it’s a cumbersome process today so this will now deliver the results in a quick, modern display with the ability to compare options. In addition, it will provide the ability to include live Carrier Spot rates in the same platform.
We are still in the testing phase but expect to share further information soon, including a launch date for
when RateScope will be live in our system for all our members. More exciting details to come.
