business. MSC - OAKLAND TERMINAL GATE FEE - effective June 27, 2016 Oakland
International container terminal (OICT) will implement a $30 Extended Gate
Fee that will apply to ALL
import and export loaded containers for day and night shifts. This fee is
being assessed by the terminal
operator in Oakland California. EXPORTS •
$30 Fee will be billed after cargo has in-gated and loaded the ships. This
applies to all shipments dayside or night •
Exporter on record on booking (B/L) will be billed unless arrangements are
made with SSA Salt Lake City (SLC) to bill an alternate party •
All Shippers will need to have an account set with SSA by week ending 6/24 IMPORTS •
A constraint will be applied to imports for the $30 Extended Gate Fee which
will place the container on hold. This applies to ALL shipments
dayside or night. •
Appointments to pick up containers cannot be made until the fee is satisfied •
