Egyptian Global Logistics was established in 1999 as a part of Kadmar Group (established in 1983) with a solid background as one of the largest shipping and logistics groups in Egypt (employing over 270 staff members). EGL obtained quality certification of ISO 9001/2000 Standards in 2001, followed by OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. It is an active member of FIATA and IATA. EGL staff is fluent in English and other languages. We have 2 staff members holding MBA degrees and 6 staff members with FIATA diplomas.

✥ Freight Forwarding: Air/Ocean freight, Land transport, Custom brokerage (we have a letter of guarantee with customs amounting to EGP 2M which enables us to move cargo from one customs area to other covering all Egyptian sea and air ports), Consolidation services, Customized transportation services, Insurance, Perishable Goods Handling, ISO Tanks operators and Ships Spares handling.

✥ Warehousing and Distribution: EGL offers long-term storage and distribution facilities, including 12,200 m2 space inside the port of Alexandria bonded area (uncovered), 7,500 m2 at the entrance of Alexandria city non bonded area (covered) and 3,244 m2 a few hundred meters from the port of Damietta bonded area (covered and uncovered). Our warehouse management system ensures constantly checking the stocks (supply management) and supplying you with stock-records at any moment of the day.

✥ Trucking: EGL owns a fleet of Mercedes and Man trucks equipped for transportation containers and cargo all over Egypt

✥ Container Logistics: EGL offers its services to container operators through our drop off points located at nationwide destinations such as Alexandria (in and outside the port), Cairo and Damietta.

✥ Project Cargo Handling: We can handle the transport of oversized cargo by air, sea and road. Our main aim is to execute creative and vital projects in various fields, so we have our own equipment for project handling, loading and discharging, making us one of the main project cargo forwarders in Egypt. We can also arrange Full / part charter services.

✥ We also provide Shipping agency, Ship Brokers and other Value Added Services such as Subscription management, Accounting and invoicing duties, E-commerce, Individual collation, Packaging, Price labeling, Bill collecting services, Delivery notes according to customer requirements, Pressing of garments, Specific national re-labeling, Assembly service.
